February 7th, 21st, & 28th Build a Brood Box Class 6:00-8:00

Join us in learning about the different kinds of beehives available and then build your own brood box and frame to take home.

Thursday’s March 14th- April 18th Beekeeping 101 6:00-8:00

Join us in a 6 week course in beekeeping where you will learn about the honeybee, the history of beekeeping, spring-summer-fall-winter maintenance, pests of the honeybee, IPM, and much more!

Course Fees:  $50.00 Guild/BNHV Members $60.00 non-guild/BNHV Members

March-October An Introduction to Beekeeping

The need for trained beekeepers is essential, now more than ever, for the environmental sustainability of bees to pollinate essential food crops and the production of high quality honey. Participation in this class series includes Beekeeping 101 (Thursday’s March 14th-April 18th 6:00-8:00) and Spring-Fall Apiary Training (every other Saturday May-Oct. 10:00-12:00).

Course Fees:                                                                                                            $283.00 ( tuition fee + equipment fee)      
equipment is yours at the conclusion of the program 
    a portion of the tuition fee goes towards supporting a veteran in the 
    Helmets to Hives Program
